Pertronix D100700 Ignitor II Vaccum Advance Distributor for Chevrolet Engines. Plug n' Play billet distributors are designed for maximum ignition performance. Pertronix distributors are available with advanced Ignitor III or Ignitor II technology. Replace your outdated points, or electronic distributor with this performance proven system.

Simply install the distributor in the engine, connect two wires and start it up! Precision CNC machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum housing is lightweight yet strong. Each billet distributor is hand polished and buffed to a high luster. Tempered distributor shaft has low torsion displacement for accurate timing and extended operational life. Upper ball bearing and oil impregnated bronze lower bushing work together to reduce friction and provide shaft and advance mechanism stability reducing high RPM vibration. 20CR Steel Gear Heat treated to surface hardness of 45C Rockwell. Precision stamped and balanced mechanical advance weights eliminate erratic timing.

Adjustable mechanical advance with proprietary limiting function permits multiple settings. Distributors are factory set with a performance advance curve and are provided with additional springs for custom advance curves. Premium high dielectric strength cap and rotor manufactured using PBT polymer and brass terminals.

Patented technology with a powerful micro controller and adaptive dwell algorithms constantly adjust the dwell angle to maintain peak energy throughout the entire RPM range for increased high and low RPM performance. Cobalt magnets and Hall Effect trigger for stable timing and precise spark distribution. Adjusts spark timing at higher RPMs to compensate for the inherent electronic delay.

Synchronized peak current and spark timing reduces heat build-up, increasing coil performance and module reliability. Built-in reverse polarity and over current protection shuts down the system, preventing component damage. Senses startup and increases energy for quicker, easier starting.
